Patterns that get harder as you go
30 abstract figure problems with no words, numbers, or trivia — only shapes and the rules that connect them. The items start simple and climb through six levels: single transformations, grid rules, combined rules, overlays, distributions, and fully integrated rules.
Pattern reasoning test
- Length
- 30 items, presented one at a time, easiest first. Untimed; most people finish in 15–25 minutes.
- Result
- A model-based reasoning index on a 100/15 reference scale, with an approximate 95% posterior interval, accuracy, and the highest complexity level you cleared.
- Method
- Rasch item-response estimate — the same transparent engine as the IQ test. Fully deterministic: fixed items, fixed order. Methodology.
Untimed power test — accuracy matters, speed does not. Take it in one sitting.
